Well, Björn has done some pretty nifty work in the articles section describing the onslaught of our armies in the 6th edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battle. It is indeed a must-read piece of work. Note that the armies are not the future Sydcon ones as neither of us have the required models painted yet. Still, I felt I learned a thing or two as I'm sure both Björn and Fredrik did too.

Finally the articles and the FAQ is up. It took me a while to complete these ones. Also, we had a couple of battles last weekend, trying out our future Sydcon armies. Some major and some minor tweaking are needed. Perhaps some of us will throw together a report of some sort (Hint, hint Björn).

Well, the circle is complete. We have now found our way back to Portent. Notice that Threepwood's Army Builder has been cancelled due to Games Workshop's Interactive Army List. However, the program and the sourcecode can still be downloaded in the files section. Other news is that Sydcon is creeping closer so we'll have to get down to some serious painting.

Hmm... Apparently, one can't download anything from this site. How can this be? Anyway, the files section is now open. Now, if I only could figure out the download issue... It has something to do with the Apache server of some sort but I can't seem to locate the problem. If you know anything, drop me a line or two.

The forum has been causing me a lot of headache lately. Making changes to existing scripts isn't the easiest task as this server is located on another continent. Nevertheless, I'm working on it. And don't forget to check out the latest rumours on Portent concerning Vampire Counts. Ghouls will apparently be able to skirmish, units will also be able to marchmove if they are within 12" to the Vampire and Wights will now possess the special ability "Killing blow". I am also sad (me being and Ork general and all) to say that the demo of the new GorkaMorka racing game is not exactly what I was hoping for. Honestly, it sucked.

About
Threepwood's Lair
The Lair was formed many years ago (in 1990 I believe) and is still going strong. The initial members (including me) were mostly involved in roleplaying and computergaming at that time. This interest grew to Games Workshop's tabletop games to such an extent that it finally became the major interest. As for the name, I'm sure some of you out there has already figured it out. It originates from the leading character in the computergame Monkey Island, Guybrush Threepwood. The idea came from one of the founders of the Lair, Mette Hammer.
